Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

In the modern world people practice different forms of yoga for various reasons. Stress, physical exercise, mindfulness, meditation and peace are just a few reasons for everyone to choose one form over the other. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a very structured format and cannot be confused with power yoga or hatha yoga. Once you know the benefits, it is easy to choose the one suitable for your concerns. For example beginners are often recommended Hatha style due to the physical nature of practice. It helps in adapting to and graduating to the other forms with ease. Hatha yoga combines the Ha (sun) and tha (moon) and basic breathing classes. It leads to better meditation and calmness of the mind. When students join any of the Mooladhara Yoga programs for Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga they gain self-knowledge and undergo inner transformation. It brings alignment to the body mind and soul.

Ashtanga refers to the limbs and it focuses on:

• Self purification

• Moral codes and study (of yoga forms)

• Breathing techniques

• Listening to the inner self

• Concentration and meditation techniques

• Being one with the universal consciousness

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga follows a structured method of practicing various poses. It is a fusion of 5 asanas or postures leading to different series. This method is ideal for blood circulation in the entire body. As the blood circulates, it detoxifies the inner systems. Sweat is released by intense posture groups.

The flowing sequences of the asanas create the semblance to exercise with uniform movements. When it is practiced regularly, the student develops flexibility and strength with a focused mindset. The Vinsaya part is synchronized and dynamic in nature. We have teachers highly skilled in this method to help students to achieve a level of mindfulness. In a typical class endurance and number of movements are required to achieve the results. We start off with slow postures and then move to the intense ones for the practitioners.

We promise to have a safe and spacious environment for students to get empowered with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
